How to install HDLoader into PS2 ?

Before you can use HDLoader, you will need the following:

  1. An official Sony PS2 network adapter, as shown below.
    Either type (Ethernet only, Ethernet and Modem) can be used.
  2. A suitable hard disk drive. You have two options here - the official Sony hard disk drive, or a standard IDE hard disk drive with a capacity of AT LEAST 40GB. If you use a standard IDE drive, you will need to make sure that it actually fits into your network adapter. There are a few known compatibility issues with some non-Sony hard disk drives, please see the compatibility section for more information. Both a Sony and standard IDE hard disk drive are shown below.
  3. A PS2 with a 'DEV9' expansion port. All PS2's will have this expansion port except for the first three Japanese models (SCPH 10000, SCPH 15000 and SCPH 18000) which have a PCMCIA expansion port instead. These models are not supported by HDLoader.

I googled and I found the link above.
and my Question are:
1. how/where do I get this file (HDLOADER.ELF) as stated? I pop in my
HDLoader CD into my CDROM, and I found no such file.
2. Assumed I got this file (HDLOADER.ELF), the instruction says burn the
disc in Mode2.
My Question: Burn these few files into a CD? This doesn't make sense as:
a. it doesn't mention anywhere that what should be copied over to the
memory card.
b. Why should burn another CD as the purpose is to boot from a memory
card?
----------------------------------------------------------------
Q How do I install HD loader to my memory card (DMS3 Devmode 1) ?
A Obtain HLOADER.ELF of size = around 640KB
Now create a CDR containing the following
HDLOADER.ELF
SYSTEM.CNF
Using notepad edit SYSTEM.CNF, and copy and paste the following in:
BOOT2 = cdrom0:HDLOADER.ELF;1
VER = 1.0
VMODE = NTSC
INSTALL.CNF - Again edit this file with notepad and copy and paste the
following in:
HDLoader 1.0
mc0:BOOTHDLOADERHDLOADER.ELF
_MKDIR mc0:BOOTHDLOADER
_COPY cdrom0:HDLOADER.ELF;1 mc0:BOOTHDLOADERHDLOADER.ELF
Double check your CDR contains the following:
HDLOADER.ELF
SYSTEM.CNF
INSTALL.CNF
Then using your favourite burning software burn the disk in Mode2.
Tip, if you'd like your PS2 to boot straight into HDloader rather than DMS's
explorer, rename HDLOADER.ELF to BOOT.ELF along with all references to the
file in SYSTEM.CNF and INSTALL.CNF
Trouble shooting, if your disk will not boot in your PS2, try adding some
dummy files to your CDR.
