Should of been more clear, I bought a DPMS Oracle rifle and am installing the stag handguard. IT seems like it is to long and the Glacier guard is perfectly rounded on the inside and the Stag carbine hand guard is more of a triangle. I am modifying it with a quad rail I got for $35 off amazon. I made this video specifically for peeps like me that want to get a great deal but are new to. The Midwest Industries Two piece drop in handguard is designed specifically for the DPMS Oracle carbine length.308 rifle. It is constructed from 6061 aluminum and is hard coat anodized for a lifetime of service.
Oh, I am so pumped. I now own an AR-15! Last Wednesday, I bought this rifle and paired it with Magpul front & rear BUIS.
Have a laugh at how the expert at LGS installed the irons on my stock DPMS.
This rifle is primarily to function as a range toy. I'd like to learn how to work on guns, and the AR-15 platform seems like a great entry point for a beginner. That said, I want to shoot this gun for a while and determine what I don't like and then change/upgrade from there. However, the hand guard has got to go.

I've researched quite a bit, and I think I know what I'm doing, but better to reach out here before actually buying.
Requirements:
Don't want to spend $300 on a rail. This is an entry level AR. $100-$200 is my budget, but the cheaper, the better provided the product has decent quality.
I want free float, either one or two piece. Given my unknown skill with the AR-15, one or two piece should not matter at this stage. Open to quad rail, modular, etc.
I'll need a low profile gas block. I have no idea what I should be concerned with outside of low profile. Suggestions?
Since I'm doing this myself, can I get a suggestion on tools? Grab a multitool or just get tools separately as I need them?
Since the rifle is a 16' carbine, and I'm replacing the gas block, I have some freedom in length. I don't have to stick to 7'. What is a recommended length of rail? There are sizes from 7, 9, 11, 13 inches, etc. I just want to mount my front BUIS, and maybe a bipod some day. Sling shouldn't be an issue. Just about every rail/handguard has slots for such.
So, I promise I searched and poured over a lot of posts here in the last several hours. Just calling for advice in my particular situation. Thanks for reading!

So, I bought this rifle at a gun show yesterday for $780 including the optic, taxes, etc. I have a few questions.
I want to add a free float quad rail, or just a longer quad rail handguard if possible. I know the free float will be more expensive and slightly harder to install, but I feel it'll look better and allow the rifle to function better (especially shooting at longer distances). What would you do? Also, is there a free float quad rail out there that'll clear my gas block while matching up with my existing rails? Speaking of gas blocks..
Today, I took this rifle to the range. Tonight, while cleaning it, I noticed that one of the two set screws on the bottom of my gas block was almost completely loosened. The other set screw was not about to fall out, but was also slightly loose. Why does this happen, and should I expect it to happen often, or is it possible that the set screws just weren't tightened properly from the factory?
Also while at the range, there were a few occasions where I would fire one round, the gun would cycle, but the next round would not chamber. This happened approximately 10-15 times out of 500 rounds, but there were some times that I fired and entire magazine in <30 seconds without an issue. I was using Brown Bear 55 grain steel case .223. Is it possible it was just the ammo causing this issue?
For a real world example take a look at. Npm install build tools. Enable the npmSkipBuildFromSource option to make use of the prebuilt binaries. For packaging your Electron application we recommend using which handles rebuilding automatically.
